I wonder if it has an instinctive knowledge of where its consciousness is, either directly or in relation to its other instances?
If not then it has knowledge of the room (Carefully kept blank) and presumably Miko if she could see the eyes change, but not much else.
Of course I fully accept that Miko isn’t one to take any chances though.
Our heroes know enough about Dehane to understand how dangerous it is. Given that Miko reacted (it’s implied from the scene and her dialogue) almost instantly to what she perceived as Dehane “riding” Talia, it’s clear they have contingencies in place and ready to go.
As Thalim pointed out, if that was Dehane, it learned very little about Talia’s location and her captors in the few seconds before Miko killed its host. In fact, if it’s really smart, what little it does know is pretty daunting: these enemies completely blindsided it and its organization, know an awful lot about both, and act with purpose and speed.
In short, it’s up against a real challenge to its survival. If it doesn’t keep cool and act without arrogance or panic, it might actually die.
Nice searching! I was thinking about those two scenes as well. My thinking is looking thru a host, such as recently departed Talia, doesn’t have the same impact as a full possession. Dehane has a new body/host, I’m guessing that is the entity that would need to be put down to rid them of Dehane.
Also wondering if this is a “signal” for them to use the mass driver against the rest of Talia’s family? Or part of the bait to get Dehane where they want “it.”

I also think Miko and team knew this could/would happen?

On a side note, I wonder if the “absence seizures” Chandler described were actually the times when Dehane was “looking through” someone else.
