It makes sense that Adah wouldn’t see Ian that way, but Etain is right in putting him in the same relentless category as Miko. When he sinks teeth into his target, he does NOT let go.

Seems to me that there is a real chance that Miko and Ian’s persistence may be the trigger for the Kronos release. The same sort of situation was developing at Starfall before the release there. Researchers were getting close to accessing and perhaps controlling the tower AI(s) when the release of a different strain from the one that Dehane has happened there.
