Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
It’s just this weird glitch with this one scene when using global illumination or ambient occlusion with it. It’ll CTD in the middle of the render about 30-40% of the time.
I have no idea what causes it, and I have repeatedly tried to solve the issue to no avail. As long as I don’t use Global or Occlusion, it renders perfectly with no issues.
BTW, this must be *hours* later, well past breakfast an on the way towards lunch. It’s sill on day-one of the coup and something tells me (title?) that we are in for a heavy briefing/meeting with a few reveals, possibly over lunch? That little beach house is going to become very crowded. Yes, a conference room at the Wells is possibly not the best/prettiest place for that. 😉
BTW, related to my comments of Friday the 13th, I see no need of Battleships on this world; not even a past need. Therefore, I see Cruisers as the largest bombardment platforms out there. Carriers, of course, are forward force projection platforms, and not the same thing at all. I see the main difference between Target’s and House Mebhe’s forces as Targeter concentrating more on ground assault and penetration support roles. Ergo, Targeter can land forces more quickly at the Temple than House Mebhe can.
I honestly have no idea who that is. 🙂 The suit was originally something I had tested out for Julia Wells to wear, then I changed body type model with her and I just had it lying around.
After having it sit on my hard drive for a couple of years, Etain ended up with it 😀
I *like* the new scene but …
Sorry, I just didn’t feel like putting ‘Later’ at the top of the comic. Carrara was crashing enough on this section.
Just be grateful that today came out at all.
I haven’t gotten to Carrara rendering with Daz3D characters yet; still using Daz3D for scene building, atm. 😉
