Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
I just finished the tunnel runners sequence. Where in relation to the current story is this?
Also, Tunnel Runners would fit very well, and be managed more correctly, in its own Comicpress site, FWIW.
@Slamlander, The first twentry or so Tunnelrunners comics are the day before Requiem begins. The little vignette between Fionn and Ian are right about when Ians Grandfather calls him.
The drowned cathedral section takes place right before Ian and Julia come back from Threllichock Territory.
I’ve been thinking about moving Tunnelrunners to another CP site, I’ve also been thinking about adding them to the comment section to each Requiem comic as they occur in chronological order.
Tunnelrunners kinda haunts me to be honest, it’s unfinished business in a way. I think about it now and anon. I may rerender it and put some of it together as a minicomic sometime. (Especially the Drowned Cathedral section.) Looking back on the Drowned Cathedral section which was done as a Halloween thing (though it is canon), which I reread last night, could be really f#@!ing good.
Sorry for the rambling, but Tunnelrunners has kind of come back into my consciousness again as part of a submission for a single panel art submission.
I think Tunnel Runners dropped off being updated about a year ago real time.
The crossover between it and Requiem is somewhere around the start of the Month of New Falling Snow 6563.
Reference for that is Tunnel Runners 114 and Requiem 1094. Both show Gage have just arrived at the Listening post.
We are currently at about Day 9/10 so less than a week ago in game time I would say.
Tunnel Runners is a fascinating story-line all in itself. It’s sort of the “little” story before, in, and around the “big” story. Sure would like it to continue some day …
I just saw the Legend of Beowulf last night. Until I saw the Features, I had no idea that it was a 100% rendered, performance capture film. Not a bit of actual live footage anywhere. – Awesome!
@Slamlander, I love how things are getting now….it’s gonna get to the point where you will not be able to tell anymore what is what is rendered and what isn’t. Heck, you can pretty much do anything now, all it takes are processor resources.
