Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Dana McAllen is a member of the urban exploration association that is currently investigating remnants of the worlds previous civilization. She initially made her debut in the Tunnelrunners side comic. She has been Ian's closest friend since early childhood, and is still his closest confidant.
Julia Wells, significant other of Ian Caladharas. Julia co runs the Wells Hotel in Erech’s Clocktower District. For those people who have rpg’d in this world: The Wells Hotel is now known as Cytheron’s. Julia and Ian tied the knot in the City of Greyrest in the Crossing Territories.
House Tindal. Physicist, Head of the Crystal One development team and all around curious man. A late term cancer patient, Dr. Gage heads out to Bellisarius Territory to settle his own curiosity about some flaws in the eyewitness reports. He now finds himself spending the last days of his life with his reformed team of Crystal One scientists in an attempt to prevent the literal end of the world.
I agree but not very long. She is the type to forge ahead with her plans regardless of any new wrinkles.
Should have know that Julia would have stacked the deck since Ian was involved in this. I’m still waiting for Dumuzi to become “active”. I firmly believe that Clarence has Dumuzi as a ghost rider right now. We have confirmation with Aileana Noel that Dumuzi inspired and cured that he can change things in his host bodies. Notice something about Clarence above, his hair is thicker, his color is better and there has been no mention of the Leukemia that should have killed him by now with all the activity he has been through. Couple that with the fact that he “invented/came up” with some of the same theories about the universe as Dumuzi, and his lack of the RFID tag and you have a strong case that Dumuzi is influencing him.
Even the fact that he has been attracted to Ena McSwain and she to him http://requiem.spiderforest.com/?p=1846 is an indication that Dumuzi is at work. What better body guard could Dumuzi have found in addition to Edgar? What better way to insure that she would protect him with even her own life than by having her fall in love?
Does this mean they found the terminal in the tower? I don’t remember them being able to mess with existence like that. Last I knew they were going to go after an open root terminal in one of the towers, but this seems to suggest they found it and gained access to programming existence.
When Gage figured out FTL, what he did was rewrite a section of existence around a ship to allow it to exceed the speed of light. He will talking more about this in an upcoming series of comics….we will be getting to it, but we still have Calliel to deal with first.
