Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Reid Wallace is a saddleman and businessman in the City of River Crossing. He is also the father of Darnell Wallace. A former gunfighter who made good…Reid is beginning to think that he is a little too old to take up his revolvers again;)
The new Casualties page has got to be the hardest part of your comic to deal with. For us, reading it. For you, deciding . . . who is NOT going to be listed in it. If Julia was not immune to Dehane’s new Kronos strain, then I have to believe that practically no one is immune. The only ones I can think of are the Dumuzi people (Adah, Aileana, Jaz, etc) and the descendants of Berand Bellisarius (Ian).
Horrid thought: What is Kronos going to do to the Threllichock? The Deep Scaled People? The Terreg? Other races like General Mirflin’s or Hakon Blackaxe’s?
Yeah, it’s been rough to be honest. It’s kind of why I’ve decided to split things off into these little vignettes. Just so I can have a break from things here and there.
Casualties…I did have a criteria for it, which you’ll kind of see as things go on into the next story cycle. This new doctor, for instance, will be in the next cycle.
And as for casualties….one I haven’t mentioned yet, which will come up in the next few days, Vance Greylock (Cassie’s Dad) was with Reid’s son when the plague hit.
My count is 234 characters seen or mentioned in this comic and the associated documents (I’m including some ancestors of current characters, from the Timeline page).
And here’s where we find out who’s done a better job.
From what Reid is saying, there must be a few scattered thru-out the land. Wondering who has the master list?
Umm, since the lady doesn’t have a tag, guessing she is a innocent bystander?
Going to be interesting keeping an eye on it.
