No plan ‘B’ involved. The Bay has kind of the same situation that the New York Subway system has. If the pumps in the New York Subway ever go down, the subways will be flooded in around 48-72 hours.
It’s not like the Bay has maintenance crews there anymore.
On a personal note, I’ve probably spent over a decade and a half researching just what happens to places when all the people are gone…it’ll be nice to actually use some of that knowledge finally.
Heh. The Washington DC subways don’t even need a pump failure to flood. A string of good thunderstorms are enough to put the Foggy Bottom station underwater.
