I am still much puzzled by what appears to be two different strains of the Kronos virus. The one that is loose in Erech has the Bellisarius carve out and is the only one that Tobalkin has. Adah noted numerous House Bellisarius first responders among the Starfall dead so that version did not have it. Granted, not every member of the House would carry the family DNA but but the House was a relatively closed community so quite a few would, and should have survived. Where did that strain come from and who released it?
