Y’know, that really sucks. A bit less than four months ago she learned she was rich (all those diamonds she picked upwhile wandering Starfall). And now it’s all about to become meaningless. Life’s not fair, given, but that’s just rubbing salt in the wound.
The diamonds will only be temporarily worthless, keep in mind that she’s “reasonably” immortal, if she hangs on to them, she can cash them when civilization is up and running again. I’m also pretty sure that every one of her stashes has at least some gold and silver coinage.

Oof. Looks like some low to mid grade PTSD there. Completely understandable, but it still make me want to give a hug.
