Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
No contest that Ishy is the Dragon, with a reasonable supposition that Nin-Banda is the Scientist. Adâh being the leader of the rebellion is new data. Nice!
With the three major poles from the Ancient world bein uncovered, things should start being revealing 😉
Something Nin-Banda reminded me of a few days back suggests that there may be another ancient power hiding in plain sight. She noted that Adah was the only survivor of the Kronos attack on Starfall. The dead eyed nasty person sometimes known as DeHane (who may have been Tobalkin but now appears to be a dark eyed woman) is preparing to use a strain of Kronos that still has the Bellisarius immunity and alpha switch in it (#4021-4025) but Adah saw Bellisarius rebels among the dead first responders so it had to be a different and more deadly strain. The only being with the means and the motive to eliminate the population of Starfall would be the clocktower AI. It may well be that the ancients, in a stroke oh hubristic genius, managed to create an unrestricted and likely adaptivly self modifying AI which is now acting to protect itself from human meddling.
Hahahaha, I guessed totally wrong yet again. My streak of wrong guesses is unbroken! Though it wasn’t helped the fact that Amara was using a government term and not a survivor term as I had thought she had, so my bad.
