The thing is that Dehane is a rogue element that was relying on a low profile to keep him out of the Caladharas/Belisarius cross-fire. The incident with Kira blew his cover, which leads to his cutting off Chandler Industries to stop-gap an investigation. Ian’s Maris Islands coup blew the rest of his cover, forcing him into a hasty retreat. Dehane no longer has any reliable assets in the Maris Islands.
