Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Dana McAllen is a member of the urban exploration association that is currently investigating remnants of the worlds previous civilization. She initially made her debut in the Tunnelrunners side comic. She has been Ian's closest friend since early childhood, and is still his closest confidant.
khms: that assumes that the tracks are intact and unburied.
Another question is what that train was used for. Other than food and bulk construction materials, I can’t think of much and the only use I can think of for that tanker is fuel. The local water supply seems sufficient unless, there was a much larger population before.
There’s another problem. How did they get their railroad, supplies, and goods to this location? No roads in, no airport, no river. All things considered – first they need to look in the buildings, then map out where the tracks go.
I really wish there was a mass reply to comments feature…
Any who, I just wanted to let you all know to sit down, and settle in. We are going to be out in this little section of the boondocks for a while. I might have a couple intermissions in all of this just to break things up a bit (when I hit my ‘can’t stand to look at this place point’) But we are going to be here for a while.
Each section of this place tells it’s own story. 🙂
I am very interested in how you are going to pull this off. I count no less than three major arcs here, the Maris Island Arc, this one, and Clarence Gage’s Tower Assault arc. That’s quite a bit 😉
The Tower Assault is going to be the easy one…that’s all in process still, and is going to be for a while. The Tower is the end game. Clarence and company go into the Clocktower, and we’ll be in the last 2-3% of the comic.
Maris Island is going to be what I use for intermission from this stuff out in the desert…but this stuff out in the desert is a big thing, and is going to require a good bit of time to do right. In it’s own way, it’s just as big a thing as Starfall was.

No. I just haven’t had anything really speak to me on it yet.
