Why would blood be viable after the disease had been there? It destroys amino acids (as in blood). ???

  “It doesn’t matter if it is still viable or not. You check everything that can possibly be checked. That’s the way the job is done. You can find out all kinds of things from blood…even if it isn’t viable for genetic records anymore.”
