Chapter: Day 4, In the Month of Rebirth, 6564
Characters: Ena MacSwain, Professor Clarence Gage
Today is the debut of the second character rebuild.
Over the years, Clarence Gage has been experiencing the same problems that Miko has had. Things finally came to a head after I completed the comic for 8/10, and I decided to make the conversion from the default Don 5 Poser model that he was based off of, to an M3 Daz3d based figure. What you see below is as close as I could get him. Hope you like his updated look…and the fact that I can actually have a larger wardrobe for the man now 
Although, to be honest, Gage would look at me like I was crazy if I even suggested such a thing

Thank you. Rebuilding Gage worried me more than a bit. He’s such an established character, and I knew I had to get him close to his old look. I think I succeeded.
The new model looks like he’s got a little Huey Lewis in his parentage…
The mouth always bugged me too. It was such an unmitigated pain in the ass to get good facial expressions with him.
Tweaking models can be tricky depending on whether the tools/sliders provided permit the changes you need.
I do like the frontal shot of Clarence. I’ll think of the change as Clarence having regained the “baby fat” he lost when he was sick.
Ena has been making sure to feed him lots of nutritious, tasty meals. He’s got to keep up his strength, you know 
Also, so that’s Miko’s last name!
That was kind of what I was thinking too…plus Ena is a total health nut anyway. I guarantee you she’d make sure he bounced back
And as for model sliders…The M3 model was a lot more limited than I thought when I first got into it. It made it excruciatingly difficult.
