Ah yes! I see it now, although the link could still have been better placed.

On another note, I’m considering using ComicPress myself. However, I will be publishing pure text novels. One problem is that these comments aren’t editable. It that a setting that you’ve imposed or is that a feature? If it’s a feature than BBpress may be better as a comment board.

BTW, I’ve been lurking on this Comic for quite a while and have re-read a lot of the archives earlier this week.

@Slamlander, It’s not a setting. It’s just the way that WordPress is set up I believe. I think it’s done that way to keep people from getting comment approval, and then changing their links back to spam links later on.

And as for a comment board, this seems to be better than BBpress because people actually use it 😉

There is something to be said for that (usage). However, Michael Poe (ErrantStory.com) seems to have no problem getting people to use his PHPBB board and he doesn’t have spam issues there either. (Maybe something integrating the two … I’ll look at the code.)

PS. ErrantStory is also considering converting to WordPress/Comicpress.

@Slamlander, With their arcvhive size they definitely should. It’s a lot easier to track cast lists and such with WP/CP

I must say, I didn’t expect to see Targeter face to face with Denise. Very cool!

It’s almost time for me to reread the whole thing again (Sigh) so I can keep seeing how everything fits together. It gets harder and longer every year :).

@Ken, It gets hard for me too sometimes. It kinda blows my mind to think of how long this comic has been running so far, and how much has changed in the real world in that time too.

I do hope Targeter survives this confrontation, she is such a fun character, why do I have the feeling she has the same or greater powers than Denise?

@Dragonrider, What Targeter has is brains 😉

The other thing she has going for her is that she never, ever lets her ego get in the way of her work. I’ve seen a number of people get hung up that way over the years. Ego can kill you if you aren’t careful.

Yeah, if it were you or me, we’d have roasted Targeter the moment she pointed the gun at us just to be sure. But Enana is so confident that she can’t be hurt that she can’t resist toying around.

(Doubly unforgivably stupid because this is the bunch that already offed Shoreham/Prometreya not even all that long ago)
