While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
This lady (who chooses to remain nameless) is professional assassin who hails from the city of Naglorond. She does most of her work for private citizens since the end of the House Wars, where she was responsible for the deaths of a number of House personnel.
The handle she is currently using is “Targeter” All that is known about her so far is that she was a child prostitute in Naglorond who killed her way out of the business , and decided to never put her fate in the hands of another ever again.
Can I pick a nit? It’s a little thing, but it jumped out at me right away. Ian wouldn’t be wearing a belt slide holster when out on a horse expedition. They are fine day-to-day, but not up to the jostling a mounted rider receives.
If you look at the old cavalry troops all the way up to modern mounted soldiers, they use full flap holsters (along with lanyards) to make sure they don’t lose their sidearm.
With all the care you put into everything in this story, this jumped at me as being out of place, and I needed to mention it to you. Thanks again for everything you put into this.
I actually thought about Ian using a holster with a retention strap, but I also figured that he’s still young, and wouldn’t necessarily have one on him for use in this situation. I also didn’t think that it would be something that would come to his mind at the moment either.
(On a personal note I was generally always a Galco man myself and used the old Combat Master holster for side carry, and the Miami Classic for shoulder use.)
Actually have both of them too, I’ve been thinking about tossing in a suppressed P90 later on on this thing. 😉 Heck, Jonathan would have been carrying one if I hadn’t already decided that pretty much the standard submachinegun for Targeters group is the MP5 SD

However, if you wait a few days you will see that Targeter is carrying this universes equivalent of the Beretta 92 in a holster that is very similar to http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=1958&GunID=3 with a retention strap.
