Professor Clarence Gage

House Tindal. Physicist, Head of the Crystal One development team and all around curious man. A late term cancer patient, Dr. Gage heads out to Bellisarius Territory to settle his own curiosity about some flaws in the eyewitness reports. He now finds himself spending the last days of his life with his reformed team of Crystal One scientists in an attempt to prevent the literal end of the world.

    You’d think that after what Ena has been through, she wouldn’t tempt the Fates with a last line like that…

    Nah, I take that back. Ena would give the Fates the finger with one hand and invite them forward with the other.

    ‘Safe’ is a relative term. It all depends on who shows up…next. Is it the tiger or the princess. There are dangers involved, either way. A palace coup will kill you just as quickly as being attack by a tiger.

    …and when ‘they’ show up, whether princess or tiger, your relative safety may also depend upon what they know and when they knew it.

    Well, as I think, emphasis on think, I understand this place; it’s your basic pocket dimension, so anyone coming in or out has to have Clarence’s codes or brain to open the door. So unless the tower guardians know about this place, I think they are reasonably safe as long as they stay here. When they leave it may well be hell on wheels in the “real” world.
