Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Julia Wells, significant other of Ian Caladharas. Julia co runs the Wells Hotel in Erech’s Clocktower District. For those people who have rpg’d in this world: The Wells Hotel is now known as Cytheron’s. Julia and Ian tied the knot in the City of Greyrest in the Crossing Territories.
The really simple answer to Aileana’s question is that the Old Guard pissed off Ian and highlighted a problem which Ian rectified. That House Mebhe needed a new home was simply icing on the cake. Maris Islands are now a strong Caladharas House ally, under House Mebhe, and House Caladharas now has access to facilities and resources not easily available to them before and House Caladharas doesn’t even have to do management and administration. The Old Guard is no longer a thorn in anyone’s side and an Intel wild card is now removed from play; wins all around for Ian and House Caladharas.
PS. Dehane is probably stewing over this loss. He may or may not be aware of the Temple facilities or Arianna and her folks at River Crossing, all of whom are Kobalt infected. About the only places left to him are Greenvale, Morris, and Naglorond.
PPS. not to mention Berand 😉
There are still open issues;
1) Whole battalions of Daemons iced under Amon-Lanc; will Dehane now re-activate them?
2) possible House Mebhe survivors at the lowest levels of Amon Lanc, possibly supported by Threllichok and/or Deep scaled people? (That’s about the only way that they could have held out this long and House Mebhe could use the help.)
3) Is Belisarius going to re-incarnate?
