If both personalities in Edgars two bodies are activated then which is actually Edgar?
Ken McLeod raised the question in ‘The Stone Canal’ with stored personality downloads. Would you choose to copy or move your conciousness? Because if you copy then there is a 50% chance that when you wake up you would still be inside the computer.

@Warren Bonesteel, I guarantee you, that these people aren’t in a computer. Though by the end of this reality will be a lot more malleable 😉
@Count Thalim, I remember that getting dealt with in Walter Jon Williams “Hardwired” They had a program that would copy a personality directly into a meat body (and could erase the host personality of a person as well.)
