This is and interesting look – she seems to look a bit younger. This hair style also looks better without sunglasses.

I’m thinking about going with it. The good thing about her is that her hair is long enough, we can vary the style. Heck, I gotta hairstyle with pigtails I might throw on her for kicks sometime that looks pretty good.

Yeah, go for it. Given the roil of events around them, it’s far from surprising that minor details about the characters would change. Many of them have changed in far more significant ways.
