Best I can guess, the Maris Islands are no more than a hundred miles off the main continent. They would want to make sure they could do a round trip, rather than assume fuel would still be available on the Islands.
Ailena and IShara took a boat from the south island to the north island, not a transoceanic run.
And no, it isn’t on the map. I had one drawn up for it, but I lost it to due to a crash and never rebuilt it. Sometime here soon, I’m going to have to make a new one and add it to the main drawing.
