While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. π
With them being surrounded by what are likely thousands of perfectly good cars, I’d guess we’re looking for one in particular. All I can think of is that gas station the blew up “years ago” (irl) back when they were considering aerosolizing Cobalt. (I’m bad at archive dives and sorry if you were planning to retcon that bit.)
Delevan’s Run? The abandoned gas station, last of its kind when petroleum-fueled automobiles were replaced by whatever these folks are using? (Hydrogen fuel cell? Fusion? Can’t remember). That’s comic #734/2006-09-10. But it was the site of a car crash and as far as I know wasn’t destroyed. So this may not be what you are thinking of.
Aha! Found it! . . . But I had to get a clue from a later comic (#66/2022-02-01). The car Ian is looking for appeared in Old World comics #1494/2009-05-13 through #1496/2009-05-15.
. . . and then I noticed the author’s note below comic #66, linking to the comic I just found by doing an archive crawl. Please have mercy, Mr. Roden, and delete this note and my preceding note.
