Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Nice touch about the silence being unsettling: that was an eerie aspect of the early lockdowns in my home city. It wasn’t total, but noticeably quieter.
I worked in an automated testing lab for a number of years. For a while the programmers who wrote the tests my machines ran were in the same room. Their regular chatter wasvery welcome. Then they moved and I didn’t . The silence apart from the low white noise of about 1000 cooling fans, started getting to me fast.
I can understand the characters in this story have their own path.
But I have to say, that I’m not sure if I’m pulling for them to “get together.” I think Ian has too much “baggage” between losing Julia and being who he is in the leadership role. I also think Adah is still trying to figure out who she is …. now.
I think the meeting with these two and Dehane will define who/how they move forward

My answer was music too. Internet radio.
