It takes as long as it takes. I don’t think anyone here would trade your health & well-being, just to get a comic sooner. So don’t you do it either, please. We will still be here, like we always have & likely will for long after the story ends.
Indeed, at the cranked out. I think rest is deserved…I can think of a couple other artists doing web comics that really SHOULD take a break for their own well being.
Consider going to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule when you return, or even Tuesday, Thursday. But this is your show, so thank you for what ever you do, or not do for that matter.
Alas, no comic, which means—you must still be in pain, or at best too recently recovered to risk a relapse.
I hope you feel better soon; in the meantime, I’ll just check the comic hoping to find you’re OK. After all these years, one comes to care for the artist behind the art.
Whatever you do, don’t rush it. When you’re “able”, take a couple of extra days. We’re not going anywhere.
I agree, thinking I was better and pushing it threw me back a few times.
Better to take the time and let your body sort itself out.
Health first always! Please don’t rush your recovery on account of any of us readers. I will always look forward to your creativity
No hurry. You come first; the story will still be here when you’re ready. Hope you feel better soon!
Take care and take extra time to be sure you are healed.
Please take the time you need.
Sorry to hear it is still being a problem. Please take care of your arm, rest well and heal up!
Muscular and tendon issues are tricky to heal. Really, they take as long as broken bones. Please do not rush back until your arm is much, much better.
take care,
Oof.
Take what time you need. Rest and get well – we’ll be here.
