Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
This thought started to form after yesterday’s comic: could the Clock-towers and the upload have messed with each other all those years ago? The uploads could have been corrupted by interference from the towers, causing all the people to go nuts. Even now, people still don’t understand the towers. It could be as simple as comparing it to having heavy snow on your satellite TV dish.
Then again, what if not everybody got to where they were supposed to? Could some of them have been accidentally uploaded -to- the towers? Maybe the towers, and their security systems, got corrupted by having human minds installed into them. This might be why they are acting weird. Jasmine did say she heard multiple voices from the same hardware.
