Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
I’m thinking it’s not even just Miko being a light sleeper, it’s that “someone is moving around and trying to be quiet about it” is more likely to trigger her wake-up treshold than, say, the sound of a thunderstorm.
A thumbcruncher is one of the things I do not need. After an incident back in 2000, I’m lucky I still have a working right thumb (I almost ripped the thing out of it’s socket). I still get pain from it.
Sorry to hear that I actually bought two of those Kensingtons I told you about, the wireless link was FUBAR, unfortunately. It worked until I had a Win10 update.

Not likely, more like sloppy driver design/code. Such a freakout should never happen. Regarding drivers, I’ve been doing well with ‘Driver Genius’ Your drivers may have already been fixed for you,
take a look at redragon gear off amazon. they are a oem for lots of the bigger “brands” in pc gear, and recently started releasing various peripherals under their own brand. i have both a mech keyboard and ambidextrous mouse from them, and am very happy given my “accessibility issues” . Cheap to boot too.
One thing that continuously bugs me whenever the Mist is brought up: the planet is a sphere, why not just go the long way around?
On our Earth, the position of the continents and canals puts a few constraints. But this world is far more open water, and open water is easy to ship on.
