Julia Wells, significant other of Ian Caladharas. Julia co runs the Wells Hotel in Erech’s Clocktower District. For those people who have rpg’d in this world: The Wells Hotel is now known as Cytheron’s. Julia and Ian tied the knot in the City of Greyrest in the Crossing Territories.
Given: You know about a celebrity, forty years ago. You were not friends and barely even acquaintances. In fact, the only direct contact you’ve ever had was at a convention … 40 years ago, and you were one of hundreds of people that they may have met. Since then, you’ve changed your name and fashions have changed. You don’t sound the same and you are speaking a different language; even your body language and posture have changed. You are more likely to recognize them than vice verse. Jazz is in that position, at the time she met Aileana, Aileana was one of the faceless masses.
At lot of times, it is the context and even then it is entirely too easy to mess up a person’s pattern recognition abilities.
Makes sense. Looking back through past comics, it seems like Jazz had planned disappearances when she decided she’d been someone too long, as opposed to unplanned when she saw somebody she recognized from another life. My expectation, that she’d recognize Aileana and decide to disappear, seems unfounded.
It’s usually a good thing to discover that you’re not the only one with a problem or talent. It’ll help that no one wants her to leave – and she should be useful to Gage.
Ambushing Jazz in a nice disarming venue? This is going to be epic 😉
I’ve been wondering something all week. Aileana could see Jazz; did Jazz catch a glimpse of Aileana? Is Jazz even going to be there?
She saw her. Didn’t recognize her, but she saw her. And she will be there.
