Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Ooh, the thot plickens! Out of curiosity, how open is bi/homosexuality, etc, in this world? I got the impression from my earlier reading, that while it’s not subject to the rampant hostility or accusation of being “unnatural”, that is so common in our world, it’s not exactly something that most people would advertise, either.
Here, they’re at the point where it’s just considered a thing, ya know? Kind of a ‘yeah your bi/gay, so what?’ kinda thing. And nobody feels the need to shout it from the rooftops. It’s a little more about decorum, which is something that I feel a lot of people have forgotten in the real world.
If only our world could catch up to that. Someone’s sexuality doesn’t really matter to me, other than as a footnote. How a person behaves matters more to me than their choice in sexual partners, but lord almighty do I feel like I’m in the minority sometimes. Thank you for choosing to show a society that’s rational about sexuality.
Actually, in Europe, both religion and sexuality swing that way as in, keep it private and don’t declare it on the billboards and by all means do NOT force your frame of reference on others! … It’s nice 😉
Mmm, ancient, well-used libraries. Cassie and I clearly share some tastes. 🙂
… Huh, that was odd. Looks like Tinymurder and I tried to post a comment at roughly the same time and the captcha engine kind of lost its mind for a bit…
I figured I’d change that aspect of things up a bit. With Cass Greylock, I had an easy excuse to change it with how long it has been since we’ve seen her. Plus I have such a library of content now, I am able to change around peoples hair styles now and actually have the colors/shades match up with each style.
Dana has been great for that. There are, like, five different hair styles in that I have that all color match pretty dang closely, so I can change them up pretty well. Since she has been pretty much long, black for most of her run, it’s been easy.
Adah is the same way. Her tied back, her loose hair, and her wet hair all use pretty much the same shader for the color, and they all can be dialed in to the same length. From a creative standpoint it’s been a blast 🙂
