Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Dana McAllen is a member of the urban exploration association that is currently investigating remnants of the worlds previous civilization. She initially made her debut in the Tunnelrunners side comic. She has been Ian's closest friend since early childhood, and is still his closest confidant.
Ooh Dana, you dirty dog, you! Just kidding, glad to see she’s interested in someone. Although, in panel 2, Cassie looks a lot like Ena McSwain. Makes me wonder if maybe she had an unrequited crush on Dr. Gage’s lady friend at some point.
By the by, am I correct in my surmise that the computer they were talking about earlier is the one that Enki constructed to try recovering the people that were uploaded into the universe?
Heh, she was also interested in that Marshall from the Crossings Territory, too. (although that came up in conversation later with Ishara) And if Reid Wallace was younger there would definitely be some things happening there.
Oh yeah, that’s right! I’d totally forgotten about her interest in Reid. I’m going to have to go archive diving for the bit about the marshall. That’s one of the things I love about this story, the depth and intricacy of both plot and characters.
But yes, the Marshall and Reid came up in the same conversation. And their was definitely some displayed interest on Dana’s part during her conversation with Reid before the big dinner party.
But yes, Dana is Bi-, but pretty dang circumspect about her love life. Mainly because she doesn’t want to bring any gossip down that could cause any difficulty for her ‘brother’, Ian.
By the way, every time I load a new page on the site, my computer hits me with 2-3 requests to allow Adobe Flash to open a program. Not sure if it’s spiderforest or just Requiem, but I figured I’d let you know. It doesn’t seem to be a problem with my machine, but I’m not an expert.
On that one, I have no idea. I went over everything with ublock and nothing came up. It could have been an ad that was being served through Project Wonderful/Adsense.
