Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Amarenzu is one of the arrivals from the 'Dispersion Event' that took place at the City of Pirogin. So far, she is the only lucid one that has been found.
The Dweller. Prophet. Statistician. Sometimes madman. It is unclear, even to himself, whether he is seeing the future or calculating probabilities better than the fastest computer in existence. Needless to say, The Dweller knows things, often before they happen.
She remembers him?
Ok, he used to be famous, but that famous?
Is she from his village?
Or was there an uproar because he was missed?
He can`t remember those days, so all kinds of things could have happened – is he going to find out?
And why does she know he can compute the future?
I understood he was a math genius, but that he could predict the future?
And why could he have been uploaded in the first place?
The eye-plague was on (for whatever reason), a six year old math genius Darius was infected and made headlines for about a year, then the uploads came and a year later eight year old Darius was found by Ekur.
If being infected with the eye-plague made you immune to the uploads, why were there so few survivors? Because the plague spreads in a community there should be more survivors (like the people in the territories), shouldn`t there be?
Or could those in the territories only survive because they had enough farmers and anywhere else (where there were outbreaks) there were not enough?
