While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
Amarenzu is one of the arrivals from the 'Dispersion Event' that took place at the City of Pirogin. So far, she is the only lucid one that has been found.
The Dweller. Prophet. Statistician. Sometimes madman. It is unclear, even to himself, whether he is seeing the future or calculating probabilities better than the fastest computer in existence. Needless to say, The Dweller knows things, often before they happen.
Probably because no one tried to teach her.
She`s probably lacking all kinds of reference points.
In hospitals people don`t have much time to talk.
The psychiatrists come to listen (not talk) and the more unstable patients take all the relevant time off the nurses (probably just to prevent them from hurting themselves).
If no one takes the time to give her a spoon and call it “spoon” she has no opportunity to learn the word.
And a psychiatrist who tries to talk to her about her husband or past will scarcely show photos…
That’s because the psychologists are all assuming that they’re trying to reach the woman she was rather than the multimillenial mental parasite that devoured her consciousness so it could have a body of its own again.
… Sorry, were we supposed to feel sympathetic to these people?
I wonder why she didn’t pick up the local language. Not like she has much else to do…
