What I still can’t entirely wrap my mind around is how a Throne is a corporate product.
Someone at some point said, “yeah we’ll order 20 of the ‘Hot girl/avenging angel’ model. Hey, can we get that in black? Marketing says black is the new liquid-metal silver.”
I’m not so much interested in what they used to look like as why their appearance changed. The “angel” look has to have a reason behind it – those wings look impractical.
Not if the reason is to inspire awe and shock in those that see it. Its also a way to build up a meme in the subconscious. Perfect camouflage as well. Someone sees a black “angel” in an area, do you think the authorities will believe them?
Third dialogue box: “chaged” should be “changed”?
