Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
House Tindal. Physicist, Head of the Crystal One development team and all around curious man. A late term cancer patient, Dr. Gage heads out to Bellisarius Territory to settle his own curiosity about some flaws in the eyewitness reports. He now finds himself spending the last days of his life with his reformed team of Crystal One scientists in an attempt to prevent the literal end of the world.
What happened to the clothes she was wearing before these? Were the atoms or molecules reused? And what of any misc. dust dirt or other foreign material that might be contaminating them? And if her clothes get briefer where does the excess go? And lastly are these really garments or just holographic projections, like a glamor?
Then, we’re seeing a type of mythology played out, as well. I’m trying to figure out which archetype Cage is fulfilling, here. From the Celtic mythos? …or from a culture that is more ancient? Sumeria, for example? The Epics of India?
Every few years I refresh my knowledge base where Quantum Physics is concerned. There’s Digital Physics, quantum entanglement in almost everything scientists examine…and quantum consciousness (Penrose and Hameroff). After that, things get weird. Plus, we can tie in aspects of Radin’s conscious universe model. If you acquire a layman’s knowledge of that sorta stuff, and read phys.org once in awhile, ‘editing’ reality isn’t so far off the reservation as some people think.
Letting Cage play with it??? Yeah. That’s crazy talk. Geeks Gone Wild. Better him than some, I suppose…
Heh, yeah…but part of this is Ena’s fault after all
But there is a limit to what ‘editing’ you can do. We will be getting into this at length here again in a couple of weeks (We’ve got a little Zerus detour coming)…mainly because I wanted to do something pretty for our 9th year anniversary.

and if particles can connect to other particles that don’t yet exist…

Editing reality gets a little easier.
iow, reality is…flexible.

I’m glad somebody else ran across that Wired article

Now that I think about it, I’ve been reading and sharing your work for over seven years…
Come to that, I oughta go back throiugh and re-read everything and refresh my memory a bit.
heh, it feels good…but it does feel really weird. I’m still trying to figure out what that days posting is gonna be
