Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
Howdy! I almost can’t believe I just read from page 1 of the comic to here in about 4 days, but it happened, ha.
It’s one amazing story, with beautiful art to boot. Later year pages definitely show improvement in visuals, and it may sound cliche… I didn’t really care if the poses/composition/lightening in the earlier panels were a little awkward, the world and characters you’ve created just drew me in :). I’ve favorites, of course, but you have so many compelling characters it’s a little mind-boggling to worry for all of them…
Definitely joining the fan troupe and looking forward for my fixes for the rest of the story as long as it is being told!
If Bellisarius could do it, he can do it. In a way, it’s like getting to the top of the unclimbable mountain. Pretty soon people are having tea and birthday parties at the summit.
This will also make the upcoming conflict with Dehane very interesting. It’s unlikely Theresa will be there to break his neck for them so he’s going to have to be the one to deal with Dehane.
That’s what I was thinking about too. I remember reading about when they did the 4 minute mile, and how everybody said it was impossible before hand. Nowadays, the 4 minute mile is the standard for middle distance runners.
Its a phenomenon well known to many. It surfaces in lists of psychological phenomena, self-help books, positive thinking promoters and goes back a long way. If the seemingly impossible has been done before, then I can do it too. Check out this link:
Welcome aboard, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it so far, and I hope you keep reading…we’ve got a lot of story left to tell
Though I think Bellisarius found that one out earlier didn’t he?
CT
Heh, that one he knows. And it’s something he definitely plans on keeping in mind
Fuck Yeah.
You most certainly can, I know I would be if I managed to pull that off.
The characters are amazing… and the story is engaging…
Glad to see a new face here, and I’m glad you like it so far. We’ve got a good ways to go yet, so hopefully you’ll stick around ’till the finish

Thank you
I’m very glad to hear that you’re enjoying it so far.
But I have to admit, it’s pretty mind-boggling to write for all of them too….:)
