Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.

An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.

Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.

That almost sounds like whatever toughens her body responds to intent — drawing blood during a medical exam was intended to aid her, so it was ‘allowed’. The finger-nick bit would have harmed her, so it was blocked, so to speak.

… Which means it’s literally magic — at least in the sense that the core tenet of science is that a properly conducted experiment should have reproducible results regardless of the observer’s intent.

There’s an old DC graphic novel called “Secret identity” where they had a version of Superman whose invulnerability worked the same way.

That means The Walker definitely committed suicide.

I’m not sure that’s correct. She lived for seven millenia with the Prime sharing her head. When he had to leave (or surely they would both die), I think it was traumatic. I think a good deal of Adah was removed also.
