  It is a great technique when approaching a potentially nuclear conversation. Plop the topic right there on the table, brutal black and white – but stay with relaxed body language, have your tone be non-judgmental and non-demanding, and continue with easygoing yet on-topic conversation. Help the other party understand it’s not an attack, and while they will be understandably wary, much progress can be made.
