Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
Moira Mebhe is Taioseach of the House of the same name. Originally based out of Amonson-Lancaster City, most of her House was wiped out in the nuclear incident that devastated the island.
There are a number of serious initiatives Ian has regarding Maris Islands. These involve;
1 Tactical Access to the Maris Island tower.
2 Shining Minds facilities/resources
3 The aerospace facility that Miko used to return from Starfall
4 The Hideout that Miko/Ishara are planning would be much more likely with a local and cooperative House Mebhe in control.
5 Chandler facilities and technologies
That said, We don’t yet know
1 Jazz’ current connection to Shining Minds
2 The Gillman’s reaction to Ena (she is House Mebhe Field Intelligence and possible House Mebhe Taniste), a boss-in-absentia.
LOL, The last Dark Age was only 200-499 years, until the First Mariner showed up with his folks. If they are successful, there may not be a next Dark Age.
The thing is, except for Dehane, everyone wants to avoid the massive die-back brought on by the upload of the first-wave Khurshid. Without the massive die-back, which the Cobalt (eye plague) infestation stops, on both fronts, everyone should be solid. Well, except for the collapse of the local space-time continuum. But that is a minor detail 😉 Cobalt should also stop things like the Pirogen Dispersion events.
I’m not terribly surprised, considering the tricks he used on Crystal One and what he demonstrated to Ena. 😉 The man is the nearest thing they have to a God.
BTW, my new workstation should arrive some time next week 😉
So he’s holding that in reserve for now and hoping that some of these remarkably bright and creative kids will come up with a solution that’s measurably less hellish?

This is getting VERY interesting, good job 😉
She has more important things to do.
I will tell you something. Gage knows how to stop the collapse. 95% sure anyway.
But the cure may well be just as hellish as the disease.
