Sorry about comments being busted for a while. One of my WordPress plugins was messing things up. I think we’re okay again *fingers crossed*
That being said, navigating an aircraft isn’t really all that hard, unless you’re in bad weather. And with the quality of Inertial Navigation Systems, even that isn’t all that big a deal, except for when you’re trying to land.
Then there are the other navaids that existed before GPS, and which I’d assume the people in this day an age are either using, or have taken the effort to set up.
As for landing, those are different systems
Especially since it would have cost more to remove it than to just leave it alone 😉
Looks like I have a couple of years of reading to do now …
