Just a short comment. Loran is pretty much worthless for navigating aircraft. It was made for boats that move at say 20mph max, not aircraft that move at over 300.
That being said, navigating an aircraft isn’t really all that hard, unless you’re in bad weather. And with the quality of Inertial Navigation Systems, even that isn’t all that big a deal, except for when you’re trying to land.
Then there are the other navaids that existed before GPS, and which I’d assume the people in this day an age are either using, or have taken the effort to set up.
As for landing, those are different systems
I was basing my use of LORAN based off of what was used back in WW2 in the Pacific, and since it wouldn’t be much trouble to leave it up I had it still be running in this world.
Especially since it would have cost more to remove it than to just leave it alone 😉
