While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
Dana McAllen is a member of the urban exploration association that is currently investigating remnants of the worlds previous civilization. She initially made her debut in the Tunnelrunners side comic. She has been Ian's closest friend since early childhood, and is still his closest confidant.
Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
Yeah, I don’t doubt Ian’s ability to kill if he has to. That he would consider it one option among others in a critical situation makes him neither weak or crazy. Just someone who has a survivor’s appreciation for what violence can and can’t do.
At the same time, he strikes me as the type who tends to value others more highly than himself. That is, he’d be more likely to kill if someone else were in danger, than to defend himself. This despite his upbringing as the heir and now head of his House.
Killing people is a fairly currupting process in that it tends over time to become the “easiest” way to deal with a problem. I also don’t think he should have let the man go without involving his security people first. This is their specialty, not his.
