This is my weapon, this is my gun. But we seem to have gone directly to the shooting, skipping the fun. Then again, maybe this is a case of love is a warm gun?

Oh goody, here come the laser pistols. This will be epic! Go James! Hmmm, course the Tower in it’s ‘omnipotence’, could be ahead of that tech… Ooo, that would be a cruel surprise…
… I wanted a blaster like ol Solo had soooo bad as a kid, I could almost taste it. somewhere in my adulthood I realized the lightsaber really was a more useful tool, and still yearn for that scifi tech, lol! Thanks for the memories 🙂
Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the upcoming ‘test’! BLIZZZAP!! (or whatever you make it do,haha, it’ll be cool!)
    JO:)

Not nearly as epic as you think. These are just the equivalent to a fancy housing for the same type of tech that is in the remote control for your TV. The housing is what’s been toughened up. Of course, what these little things are broadcasting is what is the dangerous thing.

This two little section explain it http://requiem.spiderforest.com/?p=6862 and http://requiem.spiderforest.com/?p=6882

The US Air Force has a hand held laser, a non lethal version.

    Also see ‘directed energy weapons.’

This thing isn’t even an energy weapon…it’s a narrow beam transmitter encased in a pistol shell for protection, durability and ease of aiming. Pull the trigger and the transmitter broadcasts.
