While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
Knowing something about minds is one thing. Knowing about genetic reprogramming is another – however, I’m inclined to agree with you since the only other real candidate is the scientist: Iovantucarus. It is evident from his behavior that he stopped being a scientist a very long time ago.
So it’s designed to “fix what it thinks is wrong with you” and “plug you in.”
This is my first time through the archives, and I’m going to make two quick speculations.
Cobalt “plugs you in” to the Tower. And the Tower, in an attempt to plug the leak, is going to think that some of Ames’s memories are “wrong.” She’s gonna wake up as the person who walked out of the tower 20 years ago.
Out of curiosity, does Requiem give out official “No-Prizes” to comments that successfully predict future plot points?
I originally thought of the Dweller but Ekur knows more about the mind than the Dweller does.
