Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.

Ahh that explains it, I’ve been doing a re-read from the start again (so many parts of the story I had forgotten about since I last re-read everything a few years back). I take it the loss of all the pre-2010 source material has all but killed any hope of a Volume 2 graphic novel to join the copy of Vol. 1 on my shelf?
Vol 1 material was entirely redone from scratch for the book at the time, and I have about 30 pages or so done of Vol 2. (redone the same way)
Life and other matters (bitrot on models, file format changes) have put Vol 2 on indefinite backburner. I’d like to do it someday, but with the way things stand right now, it would be safer to not get your hopes up.
Most of the old stuff wasn’t even saved at the right size/dpi to be printed at all anyway (300dpi is what is used for print). So they’d have to entirely be redone. Everything from 2010 onwards has been done and formatted in print ready formats so other than some typo work, they’d all be fine.
So I may yet see a volume 2, but it’s coin-flip odds at best… I’ll keep hoping… and saving up for a life-size poster of Dana someday :p She’s been my favourite since I first saw her.
A big print of Dana? That’s actually easy. The biggest I could get done of her would be a 30 inch by 45 inch. I’d have to go through Deviant Art to do it right (quality-wise) but it is definitely doable. What would you like to see? Any reference points, comic-wise, for her you like the best?
I’ll have to think about it a little more, times are hard at the moment so its something I’m having to hold off, but once everything stabilises I will be commissioning one from you 🙂
