While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
We were having massive bot problems network-wide that knocked a number of the networks sites hosted on VPS’s off line. (What it Takes, for instance was also knocked off line) We’ve been largely offline since late sunday night/early monday morning.
I was getting a 503 error for a couple of days, which covers too many possible causes probably not of Admin’s making. Currently I get “Page not found” when navigating directly to “…/?comic=2022-09-21”.
The 503 error can indicate a possible massive catastrophe in Admin’s server, or could be some fault downstream with maybe the DNS server.
You’re getting a ‘page not found’ because I haven’t uploaded a 9-21 page yet.
As for the rest of it, we were having massive bot problems network-wide that knocked a number of the sites hosted on VPS’s off line. We’ve been largely offline since late Sunday night/early Monday morning.
It could be argued that after a genocidal event like this, there are no “bit players” left. Every survivor, by default, is significant.
