This one features a picture of our very own Jessica Tindal)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/keenswim.keenspace.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>KeenSwim<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (One of the few events that we actually have a chance to participate in. You can find our entry <a href=\"http:\/\/keenswim.keenspace.com\/d\/20050425.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Requiem burns up so dang much time overall that we rarely get to contribute guest art to other comics at all. It was very nice though, when a friend of ours (Chelsea Gaither, of The Blue Skunk, which is linked below) put out the call for some guest art and something immediately popped into our head. At any rate, you can find the piece <a href=\"http:\/\/blueskunk.spiderforest.com\/?comic_id=230\" target=\"_blank\">here <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Built in Carrara 5, character design in Poser 6 and imported in. I think it came together quite well\u2026and defintely demonstrates what I have jokingly referred to as our reflection fetish<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for having us<\/p>\n<p>Our friends over at <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/floatinglightbulb.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Floating Lightbulb\u00a0 Webcomic blog<\/a><\/span><\/strong> interviewed us as part of their Shotgun Interview series, the interview is readable right <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/floatinglightbulb.blogspot.com\/2008\/06\/shotgun-interview-1.html\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oh, Requiem got reviewed a while back.\u00a0 You can read it over at <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tangents.us\/2010\/08\/17\/requiem\/\" target=\"_blank\">TANGENTS<\/a><\/span><\/strong> Reviews.<\/p>\n<p>And we did some guest artwork for one of our favorite comics \u201cWhat it Takes\u201d.\u00a0 You can find it at Kez\u2019s Guest Art page <a href=\"http:\/\/warofwinds.com\/what-it-takes\/?page=gallery.htm#guest\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Comic Links:<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunnerkrigg.com\"><strong>Gunnerkrigg Court<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (One of the best comics on the web. Flat out, no question about it. Great art, great story, great setting. IT. FUCKING. RULES. END. OF. STORY.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.somethingpositive.net\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Something Positive<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (Before S*P I didn\u2019t even know that there were webcomics. This is the comic that got me hooked.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/metanoia.studiowhippingboy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Metanoia<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (One of my favorites. It is part biblical allegory, dark fantasy, gothic crime novel and just all around damn good. Artistically it reminds me of a cross between James O\u2019Barr and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vachss.com\/media\/comics\/geof_darrow.html\" target=\"_blank\">Geoff Darrow<\/a> (specifically the artwork he did for \u201cHard Looks\u201d and \u201cAnother Chance to Get it Right\u201d) and is visually and emotionally stunning.) This is also the first comic that I ever did fan art for.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.viruscomix.com\/subnormality.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Subnormality<\/strong><\/a><\/span> (I always have a tendency to forget about this comic, rediscover it about 6 months later, and then realize just how cool the thing really is.\u00a0 Give this one a shot, it is probably one of the most intelligent comics out there. )<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oglaf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>OGLAF<\/strong><\/a>:<\/span> Dirty, and incredibly funny.\u00a0 So NSFW, and one of my favorite strips running currently.\u00a0 Updates every Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/warofwinds.com\/what-it-takes\/\" target=\"_blank\">What it Takes:<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>An excellent post-apocalyptic webcomic from the Mighty Kez.\u00a0 Cool art, and a great heroine.\u00a0 And yes, I did say heroine \u00a0 It just started up, so you can get in on this one on the ground floor.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twolumps.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Two Lumps:<\/a><\/strong> A cat comic.\u00a0 And unlike Garfield, a good cat comic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/marryme.keenspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marry Me:<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 I\u2019ve gotten hooked on this thing.\u00a0 And it is sweet, and sometimes silly\u2026but I like it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blastwave-comic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Gone With The Blastwave:<\/strong><\/a> Another post apocalyptic comic.\u00a0 Updates very sporadically.\u00a0 Very clever piece of work.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dragongirlnoriko.com\/\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dragon Girl Noriko:<\/span><\/strong><\/a> I\u2019m lucky enough to be able to help out on this one<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Appearances and Guest Work: Renderosity An interview we did for the Renderosity Art Community (which is also the home of \u201cTunnelrunners\u201d) Summer of Keenspace (Our first event participation.
