Uh oh is right. The throne is after Ian’s mother.

Is that the location of the current Amena of the grave of the one that died?

I would guess of the current Amena. She probably wasn’t supposed to be walking around again, after the trouble they went through to keep her in the tower.

The different threat levels of the ‘subjects’ are also charming to see, btw.

It is ‘Amena Caladharas V1.0′ that is seeked for…
        But which is it?

What is Amena’s significance to the Thrones? She’s important enough to make a copy to mislead the outside world while keeping the original.
Darius has a threat level, but he’s not present … curious.
No mention of Targeter as a threat.

Yes, what is her significance? What did she learn that required she be put on ice and a modified copy sent back out into the world? Apparently its important enough that she is the primary target. Also we have verification that she is indeed the orginal. Look at the V1.0 after her name. I hope she communicates whatever she really knows before getting grabbed. Also, look at its orders: Assess, Contain, Retrieve. Nothing about eliminating her. She is very important to AI that runs the towers.

Threats are perhaps not about physical assault, but information

I had caught it. Instead of disconnect, you should have put +++

I remember before the web, back in the BBS days, we used to get a kick out of tricking someone into typing +++ which is the modem command to disconnect. I remember my first modem, a 1200 baud Wildcat that I had hooked to an old IBM dumb terminal and had to manually type in the connection string every time to get on the BBS’s. I could type faster than the baud rate.

For obvious reasons, I’m very careful about hitting +++ ;)

Hah, I must be learning, this was the first twist I saw coming reading through the archives. The moment the throne flew off, I thought it was going to recover Amena. Only the timing of it’s appearance gave me pause
