Somebody emailed me recently asking about Ishara’s tattoos, so I thought that we’d actually show them off this time. Click on each picture below to see them larger.
Some of those must have hurt a lot. the ones on the eye and the one close to the groin. The shoulders would have been a nuisance. the ones on the butt, not so much. Ouch!
Very ornate – and interesting.
Kinda also makes me wonder at the source/insiration for the dragon motif. Did she get them all at once? or over the space of several years/centuries?
I believe that was me asking at one point. The dragon motif mentioned is of the chinese “LUNG” , a more snake like creature. I would be asking at this point if she had spent time in south asia as I have seen no mention of this anywhere.
As a former amateur photographer, I must comment on the increasing realism you’ve been achieving it’s getting much easier to forget that these are computer generated images ( I stopped before personal computers became available).
It all comes down to one program. Carrara. It’s the best and the fastest 3d program for this type of work that I’ve seen yet. During 2010, the 64 bit version of Carrara came out, and I was able to bring all the figures into one program without any workarounds/plugins. Being able to render everything natively helped a heck of a lot. It helped me with lighting and the overall realism of everything. I also went through a massive system upgrade at the time as well, and I was just able to throw a huge amount of RAM (and a top of the line processor) at a scene and make everything much more realistic.
Help keep us in caffeine, and pixels!
