Due to family medical issues, Requiem is on indefinite hiatus.
An elderly family member of ours took a bad fall on Labor Day night, and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath ever since. Hopefully, things will get sorted out, but as of right now, doing a daily comic is not something my schedule can allow.
Sorry to have this happen, but as everyone knows, real life comes first….and at least we don’t have too many running storylines on the backburner.
Educational General Academic Research Unit aka “Edgar” is part of the first production line of non-limited Artificial Intelligence’s. He is currently one of the House Tindal researchers, and is Professor Gage’s second-in-command. Also one of the members of the Crystal One development team.
I recently discovered this comic, and, per my usual habit, went back to the beginning to see how things got to where they are currently.
Sweet Buddha! 16 years of 5 days a week! I had to look up Tiaoseach to find the correct pronunciation. Once I realized it was Irish, some other things fell into place.
There is a LOT of backstory that’s hinted at and only slowly explained. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad…
Sometimes the character poses seem a bit stiff, or even awkward, but considering you’re doing this 5 days a week, that’s understandable.
So far, I’ve finished the first year (I have to snatch a moment here and there to read it), and it’s interesting. I’m still trying to get all the characters straight in my mind, but I’m sure that will pass as I read more. I look forward to that journey.
There are multiple stories involving people or groups of people, interweaving with each other (stories AND people). It is a rich world. My favorite amongst the comics I follow. Hard to believe that in-world, less than a year and a quarter have passed.
