Ruins, Rubble…and A Handful of Dust, Part 19

Ian Caladharas

Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )

And that’s why the Fog is a nightmare…

I dunno, we haven’t seen an instance of the Fog yet. So, not yet a nightmare. I imagine that there is some sort of cerebral implant involved as well, or is that one of the effects of Kobalt? Kobalt is quite capable of building supplementary processing into the humans. The sporadic side-effects would be in addition. 😉

This reveal keeps on rolling. It is *huge*.

If the Fog is the same thing as the Mist (http://requiem.spiderforest.com/?comic=2004-12-17-5), then she’s just told us who the Directors are – and where they are.

“So I turned the Fog on them and murdered them first.”

    I like her!

definitely not the wilting lily type … I reserve judgment until I learn more about what she has and has not done and get a better read of the pre-upload timeline.

I truly hadn’t considered the Mist being a nanite fog.

When it registered on their radar as a solid I assumed it would be something like that. It’s just about the only thing that makes sense – the extreme magnetism is still stumping me though.

That’s how the fog particles can float/fly.
