While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. 🙁
Dana McAllen is a member of the urban exploration association that is currently investigating remnants of the worlds previous civilization. She initially made her debut in the Tunnelrunners side comic. She has been Ian's closest friend since early childhood, and is still his closest confidant.
Laura McAllen is former archivist for House Caladharas and is now a university professor, and the mother of Dana McAllen. She is also a long time explorer…and Julia Well’s fifth grade teacher.
Thanks for the info on last page, several questions running around now but will hold most and see where things go from now. One I will ask when can we expect to see a sailing ship dock and what will Ian do once it does? He doesn’t strike me as the type to step down quietly.
@Dragonrider, Preparations are still going on for the trip….it has been 18 days (in comic time) since we last talked with out Taioseach.
As for travel time, using this http://www.topics-mag.com/edition01/yuko.htm as a rough estimate, it’ll be around two months. Weather conditions are hellish oceanside right now, which may mean that they delay the return trip until spring.
Of course, by the time he makes it back home such things as a Taioseach may very well be meaningless.
On the other hand, leadership is never meaningless. Throughout history most people have preferred to follow young leaders than older ones. I suspect any conflict would brief – but we’ll see.
